The Gman is spending part of his morning weedeating a new path for some more electric fencing. He's hoping to move the 3 Little Pigs down further into our "pasture"....well, eventually it will be our pasture. Right now it's overgrown with canary grass.....look how tall it is compared to the Gman! There's also lots of willows in there too.....that is a project for another year, I'm afraid.....but we really do want to get those pastures renewed...
He came across this bush. We cut a small limb off and I will ask my friend what it is. It doesn't look like Saskatoon bush to me....but it has lots of ripe berries on it. I want to find out what it is before we taste them!
Anyway, he raked up a bunch of canary grass and tossed it to the pigs...they Loved it! Good, cuz hopefully in a week or so, that's what they'll be munching down on....as soon as we can get some more wire run....
