Over the years, I have fiddled around with different homemade poison ivy and weed killer recipes until I found a combination of ingredients that really works for me.
I had a huge poison ivy patch that I fought for years with all kinds of herbicides, including homemade organics.
I experimented with recipes using vinegar and salt in varying proportions. Some of them almost did the trick. Here's the one that really worked:

I don't know if I have poison ivy on my land or not. I have not ran into yet. I will have to save this info just in case I find a patch. But I know I will use it on some weeds that are kicking my butt!
Thanks for the tip, I have like 25 vines of poison ivy...took my an hour to do my whole yard. When I took a second lap around to check my work, the little ones were starting to wilt...yea... My daughter is a leaf picker and has gotten it 3 ties already this season. With alot of luck I will conquer the evil Ivy.
