Here's what was waiting for me when I got up yesterday morning.....
come a little closer....come on....
By this point, I was able to get da Wolf inside before he realized a moose was in our yard...
I am always awestruck when I see moose.....they are soooo BIG...
such long gangly legs holding up that huge body....
I waited awhile to see if there was another one, but I couldn't see anything else...just this female wandering around out in our pasture!

They are such gangly, ungainly looking critters. It's unbelievable how fast they can move! We used to watch them go under water and feed; really amazing!
I read somewhere that a moose is a horse that was put together by a committee!

I am on the look out for moose! We fly to meet our youngest daughters brand new baby girl in Alaska this week end! Here's to the moose and here's to brand new babies!

We often see moose here but most often I don't have time to grab the camera...that or either da Wolf has scared them off, lol!
