Take a look down our Valley - this smoke has been hanging around now forever, it seems.
There are over 400 fires currently burning in the Cariboo....Part of Highway 20 out to Bella Coola has been closed down, as the fire jumped the highway.
The garden, tho is still doing fantastic! I've been drying herbs, feeding lots of spent spinach and trimmed chard off to the pigs and hens, and we'll be breaking out the canner soon!
