Tomorrow we are going to see Bryan Adams and the Beach Boys....they are part of the Opening Day festivities at the PNE.
The PNE is 100 years old this year...I'll bet almost every BC'er has fond memories of going to the PNE at least once or twice when they were a kid!
And...it'll be nice to get out of here, away from all this smoke! Fires are still burning in the Cariboo....there is concern the fire may jump the Fraser River up at Williams Lake.
Our Valley is still so smoky we can't even see the top ridge...haven't seen it in weeks now.
We'll be home again Sunday, after making a stop to pick tomatoes near Lilloett. I think we need to get about 250 pounds or so, as we are picking for Valley neighbours as well as ourselves. Guess what I'll be doing next week?
