Snow, Snow, Snow

It's been snowing pretty steadily for the last couple of days....

Finally! I know there are lots of you who have had a tough winter

with Lots of Snow....

we have not had very much...up till now, that is....

here's our driveway. I'm glad we finally have a good whack of snow...

as we need a good snow pack so that we have good water

supply this coming Summer....

The road was plowed late the evening before this pic was taken.

It needs to be plowed again! It snowed pretty much all day yesterday

It's not light outside yet, so I don't know if it snowed again

during the nite. Our neighbour came yesterday and cleared the driveway for me.

I am going to try to get to town this afternoon. I have to

mail some Calendars out.

How much snow do you have at your house?

This snow has been amazing. I too am thankful for the snow pack looking forward to summer water supplies.

We have an enormous amount of snow in southwestern Manitoba and it is snowing again, with the potential of around 10cm. They are threatening to close the highways...I love snow but we are really going to be in for some major flooding here in Manitoba as all the waterways are already at capacity, as are many lakes and resevoirs.

These pictures are so pretty! We don't have any snow now, just a lot of rain which is good!
Are you looking through your favorite seed catalogs?

How much snow? None... but we have had lots of rain this winter so far. Like you, that is a good thing for our water supply this coming summer.

We have about 8" on the ground with another 5" predicted. I don't mind it one bit.

I heard from our friends in the Valley that it has been snowing pretty steadily since we left.

I'm glad we chose what turned out to be the only day to get out...to leave!
