Keeping It Real

I took this picture the other day. Frankly, I debated putting it up on here because it shows that I am not as good a housekeeper as my Mother would like me to be, ha!

But the good outweighs the bad, I think. There is a LOT going on in this picture....can you see everything that is happening?

What do You see going on? Sphere: Related Content

I love it when others post their dirty little secrets LOL...my house too looks like that....the kitchen table has sprouts growing on it, the dehydrator is on there going most of the time, my seed catalogs....and then what ever else gets dropped there when some one comes in the house lol....Sometimes housekeeping is the LAST thing on my mind!!!

I didn't find anything wrong with your picture... the floor looked swept after all!

I see wine being made, wine being racked off, eggs being incubated, kindling ready to be used for the stove and maybe that box has paper to use to help start the fire??? Gman's boots drying in front of the stove? Not sure what else.

OH! And you have something cooking on the heater!

The only thing that I found wrong, was not being invited over for a glass of the wine that you are making!!

I am a home wine maker myself, and am presently fermenting in my kitchen, because of the warm temperatures, much like yourself.

I'd be interested to know what kinds of wine you make??

Thanks for sharing

It's way cleaner than my house. We have snow melting and it's MUDDY.

Are you sure you don't need any wine bottles?

I'm not a very good housekeeper. Dog hair for one!

I see a home that is lived in, and not a showplace. I see someone with interests and a great wood stove! But I have to ask - what is the green box/thing on the table?

Cicero, yes we do and I will come over to your blog and let you know.

I am glad to hear that there are more of us out there, who have other important things going on than making sure the house is spotless.

My house is Never spotless, lol

Linda, you nailed pretty much everything, except for the tray of red peppers behind the carboys, which I still need to put away.

Janesville-Dan, we make all kinds of wild wines. I am working on getting all the recipes on our new site, but for now, click on Wine in the right sidebar of this blog.

Umbrellalady, that is an incubator, and I have eggs in there now! Still need to post about that.

And Laura, if you have mud and melting snow, that is a sure sign Spring is on its way

Aha! I didn't notice the peppers until you said so AND I clicked on the picture to see better! LOL
