The chicks are doing well....altho I was out yesterday for awhile and when I got home and checked them....four were wandering around Outside their house, walking around in the shop!
I got some leftover window screen material and put it over top of both houses, used clothepins to keep it in place. This should work, and it will be easy to take off in order for me to get in and get the waterers and feeders....
We've still got the heat on in that room...otherwise we would have the brooder lights lower....
They are definitely growing! You can see the wing feathers, and tail feathers are now present on most of the birds....they are drinking and eating more and more all the time. I replaced one small waterer in each house with a larger one...so they have one small, one large in each....
