Lovage

Reader Aunt Krissy was asking for more info on lovage....here's a pic for you Krissy...

it's Very easy to harvest and dry....just hang the stems upside down....click over to here to see how we did it:
It's a perennial, so it will come back every year....tho it does die down to the ground in the fall (at least here!)

Thanks for posting that pic. Not real fond of celery! If a little goes a long way, makes me think of that vile cilantro!

ps.none of my bees wax so I will understand if you dont respond to this question. I remember you saying that you were a internet/stock market /trader
How's it going? I think about you sometimes when I watch the news!

Hi Aunt Krissy, I usually don't trade from about May till October. I find the market is usually quieter at that point, and I am too busy around here with the gardens.

So, this year I got lucky, I went into cash around the middle of May, and haven't bought any stock since...thank goodness!

I have gone back to watching every now and again, but I don't think there is any staying power right now on the markets. Sure, there will be rallies, but overall, I think we are still in a downtrend. I think the Dow will fall quite aways still....hopefully I am wrong, but I kinda doubt it!

Cheers,

Annie
