I came across a recipe last week for making Dandelion Wine. Since it's That time of year, I figured I would give it a try....

We bought this crock from a friend of a friend....it'll come in handy, not only for wine, but sauerkraut too!
The next day, I took a peek. Didn't think it looked that tasty, actually!
But, it's getting better now.....
Here's hoping it turns out! I know someone who has tasted it before and they said it was really good!

I like to make wine also. I use a 5 gallon glass bottle.Makes a lot of wine! I just read your recipe for pickled eggs. I love them and have chickens(6 hens),so am always looking for some way to use them.I usually give some to friends and neighbours.I have a tip for you on boiling and peeling eggs.It really works too! Put eggs in a kettle of water and add a lot of SALT to the water.Cook as usual and cool in cold water. You will be amazed at how easy they are to peel! Doris
I've always wanted to know what dandelion wine tasted like ... so you'll have to let us know what you think!
Today I have to do the next step on the Dandelion wine....I'll let you know how it tastes, I don't think it looks very good at this point, lol!
