The meat birds are spending quite a bit of time outside. We leave the 2 doors open and they can go in or out, whatever they like.We've been bringing their feeders and waterers outside during the day and feeding them out there. At night, we bring them back in the barn. The birds are getting used to going in and out of the doors, they move pretty quick!
Come Monday, they will be 5 weeks old. They'll start putting on a lot of growth over their next few weeks....
We can start telling then hens from the roos....the roos are already beginning to develop larger combs...
