Good thing we had the row covers on the beans or we would have lost all of them! We've had frosts maybe 3 mornings this past week. Our potatoes look awful, as the tops got hit with frost.
There is still green growth on them tho, that wasn't affected. So we're hoping that they will continue to grow.

Ah the life in Cariboo Valley, eh?
My garden is almost gone. We just could not water well enough by hand. Another lesson learned on my small homestead! The guys put up sprinklers today. So maybe I will still get some corn and some potatoes and tomatoes. I will work on a fall garden if it work!
I love the pics...the first one looks like a painting! :0)
Ahhh ... I heard the upper regions had frost. We escaped it. I would so hate to lose my potatoes ... I do hope yours make a come back.
Yesterday, we had quarter and penny sized hail. Watching out my window as my plants were shredded is my least favorite part of gardening. Before that was frost in to late June. I sympathize with your plight. Thanks for the pictures of the garden setting. What a beautiful valley. We live on the plains of Wyoming, USA and the sight of trees is a wonder.
