Lemonade Recipe
I was looking around on the 20 minute supper club and found this lemonade recipe....I made it up yesterday.
Ingredients
1 Cup sugar
5 Cup cold water
1-1/4 Cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 5 lemons)
Preparation
1.In a stainless-steel saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water.
2.Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
3.Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
4.Remove saucepan from heat and let sugar syrup cool completely.
5.Stir in lemon juice and remaining 4 cups of water.
6.Refrigerate lemonade until cold. Garnish with sprigs of mint or lemon balm.

My lemonade is basically that, but with frozen strawberries or raspberries instead of ice. Which, incidentally, is also a great way to drink iced tea.
I don't have a favorite recipe but I AM going to be making this up shortly! I only have bottled lemon juice so I hoped that's okay.
This is how I make my lemonade, too, but I usually make lavender lemonade by adding 3 tablespoons of culinary lavender (in my case Provence) to the sugar syrup. As it cools it steeps, then I strain the lavender out, and have Lavender Lemonade.
Just made it with bottled lemon juice and it's great!!!! I'm going to do a half and half lemonade/ice tea mix too mmmmm I make my tea and lemonade in serving size ball jars so we can just take one out (or with us) already cold!
Sounds good! I have been looking for a lemon-ie lemonade. Thanks a million!
This sounds so refreshing RIGHT NOW! Thanks for the lemon-y good stuff!
What great ideas! Thanks for those, and Crystal, I'm glad it turned out using the lemon juice.
I always have that on hand, but don't always have lemons, for sure
