Yesterday's Sunrise

Evening before last, I opened the screen door to let da Wolf and Ginger back in the house....

and da Wolf was all wet! Hmmm, I didn't hear any rain falling and it was of course

dark outside (darn time change!).

Flipped on the outside light and saw Snow Falling!

I peeked out the window several times but it was hard to see how much

snow was there.

So, yesterday morning I woke up and got the coffee on and lifted my head....

and here's what I saw (well, it was a bit darker then)

My Word! The sunrise over the ridge was just so beautiful!

And all the trees were icy frosty...

I grabbed a coffee and sat down to watch the sunrise.

And I sat and sat and sat.....

By this point, the sun was up...still so beautiful!

So now I wonder will this be THE snow?

You know....the one that doesn't melt away...the one

that lasts till April?

I guess we'll see....

Picture perfect - enjoy it for me please - have a longing in me that goes back to the Tidworth, Hampshire, UK roots so many years ago.... (sigh)

A White Christmas - what could be nicer!??!

We are to get snow on Saturday, but I'm sure if we do it wont stick. You have such a nice view. I think I too would linger and watch the sun come up.

Those are great pictures Annie! It reminds me of our place in the morning... only the sun comes from the left instead of right... I could watch it for a long time as well.

Oh and as for the snow... beautiful! (but you can keep it! lol)

I did not word it properly about the sun coming up...

that first pic shows the reflection of the sun....that top ridge in the picture is looking to the northwest.
