Thank You!

Thank you all so much for the comments you have left us from the last post. I so do appreciate any good thoughts you can send my way.

Tomorrow is Monday, July 6. I have to be at the hospital by 11am, for surgery at 1pm PST.

I will be having a mastectomy. During surgery, they will check my lymph nodes in the armpit and send samples away for testing.

Depending on the outcome of those tests, I may or may not need to have radiation. If I do, I (we) will relocate to the Okanogan for 5-6 weeks, so I can have treatment there.

There is a simply beautiful lake there, one that I used to spend holidays at, when I was a kid with my family.

The irony is not lost on me that I may be able to spend weeks on the beach there, soaking up the sun, and only have 1 Boob in my bathing suit :)

Good humour, hope and a lot of positive thinking is what I am focusing on!! Sphere: Related Content

Oh my, I've been away from reading my blogs and I've missed this. I do hope all goes well and that your lymph come up clear. Humour/laughter is a good medicine, no doubt about it.

Hi to All,
This is the G-Man, Annie's other half, I don't know how to post a post on her blog so this is the best I can do.
Annie came through the surgery Very Good. She is in good spirits and we went for a walk and she is wanting to eat and do more than the nurses want het to and that is GOOD
Allthough she does have some pain and a little black button that helps her out with 10mg of demerol. So she is very comfertable.
Hopefully home tomorrow and I am sure she will post soon. Thanks Again

G-Man
