Up at the Shop - Sheathing and a Roof!

The walls are pretty much sheathed....there are a few places Gman needs to finish with. Yesterday he started on putting the metal roofing on, with help from a friend.

Getting the sheets up there is harder than it looks....they used ropes, vice grips and plenty of muscle!

Gman screwing in the last sheet of roofing!!

You can see the gable ends that still need to be enclosed...

Dinner last night! Totally homegrown meal yet again, that is happening pretty much every meal here now!

Homegrown pork from last year, grilled fingerling potatoes, grilled onions and steamed broccoli and cauliflower with a bit of grated cheese on top!

Delicious!

Shop is coming along nicely and that dinner looks so good... homegrown always tastes so much better too.

I admire the fact that your family is so self-sufficient! Wonderful looking meal that will undoubtedly taste even more wonderful because it comes from your labours.

What size is your shop?
It looks beautiful and you guys made great progress so quickly.
Mmmm, mmm! I am coming to your place for dinner!

Kari, I think it's 24 x 36. It's big and the Gman walks around there with a smile on his face. I'm so glad he finally got his shop.
