OOOhhhhh, we had barbequed chicken last night....home grown of course....the Gman cut up a chicken.....It was a good size bird, when we packaged them, we put the weight on each package, but I made a mistake using masking tape on each package to write the weight down.....well, the tape fell off in the freezer, lol...
anyway, the breasts were so large we measured them....over 8 inches!
There's two breasts in the scale container...total weight 1 3/4 pounds of chicken breast.
Dinner was delicious! Barbequed potatoes, fresh and lightly steamed garden spinach....yummy!
I think we have only one or maybe two chickens left in the freezer...good thing we'll be sending another batch off to freezer camp within the next 5 or 6 weeks!
